Vancouver, Canada 2000-2004

When I started working in COWI, it was with an interest in working abroad. However I quickly realized that newly graduated engineeres were rarely sent abroad. But then one day in the winter 2000, I was asked "Would you like to go to Vancouver for a couple of years and work with Buckland & Taylor?" I replied yes right away and on May 31st, I landed in Vancouver International Airport.

I liked Vancouver a lot, both the work, the friendly people and all that beautiful British Columbia has to offer, in special the hiking, skiing and snowboarding. So I extended my stay a couple of times and ended up living close to 4 years in Canada.

The following photo section will be activated when I get some time to scan photos (Vancouver was mostly before I got a digital camera).
